image based on "Shekere with Bey" collage and acrylic. Shekere with Bey is one collage and acrylic panel of two depicting a dance and shekere performance by former dancers in the womens ensemble of the Charles Moore Dance Theatre. The performance piece was taught and led by the late, great Chief Bey. "Shekere" was first performed on the DanceAfrica stage in 1979.

Artwork Commissioned by NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation Installed October 2009
Long Island University recently moved their School of Nursing into
a renovated space at Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY.
Below is a detail of my work, "Play" (3' x 10')
acrylic and collage on canvas, which has been installed in the corridors
of the L.I.U./Kings County Hospital Center Nursing School.
This piece is now part of the Corporation's permanent collection.
