DANCE AFRICA 2010
"Shekere with Bey" was featured by BAM's DanceAfrica as work of Ramona Candy, 2010 DanceAfica Visual Artist. It is an original collage of two, depicting a dance and shekere performance by former dancers in the women's ensemble of the Charles Moore Dance Theatre. The performance piece was taught and led by the great Chief Bey. "Shekere" was first performed on the DanceAfrica stage in 1979.
